WCAR Regional calls

There has been a growing demand from countries within the same region to share challenges and positive experiences. The first round of regional coordination calls was organized in May/June 2023 and was positively received by in-country coordination teams, regional and global colleagues. In light of this interest, it was decided to extend the invitation of these calls to a wider audience. The Burkina Faso and DRC presentations kicked off the second round of calls a – referred to as “regional coordination calls +”.

The idea is to continue organizing regional coordination calls with in-country coordination teams (frequency tbd) and regularly organize a “call +” with extended audiences to highlight key points, communalities and/or challenges of the on-going responses.
