West and Central Africa Regional Consultation
The purpose of this regional consultation meeting was to provide a platform for sharing experiences and knowledge between countries, strengthen collaboration between the sector/cluster coordination teams at all levels and key regional and global partners, as well as provide feedback on global priorities for consideration during the upcoming 2024 GNC global meeting.
In total, more than 45 individuals from 13 countries attended in person and 35 attended virtually.
General objectives
Discuss issues that are specific to the WCA region and that require the support of regional and global level teams
Provide the Nutrition cluster/ sector coordinators an opportunity to share their experiences and lessons learned on identified key thematic areas.
Update participants on global and regional-specific strategic priorities.
