You are invited to participate in a survey on gender-based violence (GBV) risk mitigation and COVID-19 in humanitarian settings. This survey is being conducted by researchers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, in partnership with UNICEF, CARE, and the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative.

The survey aims to understand how:

  • GBV risk for affected populations has changed during the COVID-19 pandemic and related restrictions
  • Humanitarian practitioners, especially in non-protection sectors, are mitigating GBV risk for affected populations during COVID-19

The research team is collecting information from practitioners in all humanitarian sectors and regions. Your experiences and insights will help strengthen GBV risk mitigation in the context of COVID-19 in the future.

The survey should take about 30 minutes to complete and is available in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Swahili and Amharic

Take the Survey in English

This survey is part of a larger mixed-methods study called the “Humanitarian Gender Study” focused on gender bias in the humanitarian sector. Learn more about the Humanitarian Gender Study here.
