Greetings from Save the Children!

Save the Children is glad to share with you all an initial set of guidance with tools that can be adapted and used for remote supportive supervision and monitoring of the nutrition programmes implemented at the facility level.

We believe and hope that these initial practical set of tools will help our country offices, at least those implementing nutrition programmes in their Covid 19 adaptation efforts and initiatives, with the aim of ensuring the continuation of quality basic life savings nutrition services including IYCF.

The main target users of these tools are the nutrition programme managers, advisers, supervisors, field officers and facility staff. The package is composed of the following

a) basic guidelines and

b) a set of tools like a supervision checklist, minimum quality benchmarks and a summary of findings

We have attached these materials for dissemination, adaptation and modification as needed.

We would really appreciate if you could disseminate widely and ensure that all the teams at the country level have access to them. We are more than happy to clarify any concern, issues and document any experience, suggestions and considerations based on the in-country experiences.

This is a version 1.0, and in the next 3 months, we aim to collect experiences, feedback, inputs, so that we could improve and update the tools.
