- OCHA has released a Global HRP for COVID19, covering more than 40 countries, mostly having HRP or RHRP, to present the needs, strategy, and requirements (USD 2Bn) to prepare and respond to non-health related consequences of the pandemic (the health related issues should be addressed by the WHO Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan (SPRP), targeting national Governments to develop their own country Preparedness and Response Plan (PRP)).
- Monthly updates of the GHRP should follow, one is under preparation and to be released in early May. 11 countries have been added. All countries have been requested to provide their inputs by April 22nd.
- The country specific 2020 HRPs should be updated shortly to account for COVID, but if and how will depend on countries. Instructions by OCHA on HRP revision are available here. The GNC-CT is convening a webinar next week to provide guidance on HRP revision and answer questions; an invitation will be circulated shortly.
