Sessions on Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP)

As part of the 2023 edition of the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks (HNPW), the IASC taskforce on Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) is organizing a series of events on how to strengthen AAP and bring about the Participation Revolution as envisaged by the Grand Bargain. The following six (remote) sessions are open for all public to attend: 

• Session 1 (17 April 2023, 9:00-10:30 CEST):  Every contact counts: Intentional accountability through the programme cycle
• Session 2 (18 April 2023, 10:00-11:30 CEST):  AAP and humanitarian data responsibility
• Session 3 (18 April 2023, 14:00-15:30 CEST):  Leveraging social sciences for community engagement in humanitarian action
• Session 4 (19 April 2023, 14:00-15:30 CEST):  Empowering frontline staff to deliver accountable and locally driven humanitarian assistance
• Session 5 (20 April 2023, 13:00-14:30 CEST):  Launch of the Accountability and Inclusion Helpdesk
• Session 6 (24 April 2023, 16:00-17:30 CEST):  Flipping the system: What will it take for greater accountability to people in crisis?
