"RESOURCE MOBILISATION FOR LOCAL AND NATIONAL ACTORS"

Wednesday, 26 June 2024 14:00-15:30 (CET/Geneva Time)

High quality and effective Nutrition in Emergencies (NiE) response is possible when LNAs have adequate resources to support their nutrition activities, institutional capacity, and staffing allowing them to meet the needs of the affected population. How can local and national actors, including governments, better leverage their power to mobilize resources when there seems to be less and less funding to go around?

This webinar will provide a comprehensive overview of the NiE humanitarian financing landscape, main donors, funding trends, as well as barriers and challenges catered to the needs of LNAs. Presentations will be provided by a resource mobilisation specialist, two local and national actors sharing their experiences, and one resource partner. There will be time for questions and answers following the presentations.

This webinar will be in English with simultaneous translation into French, Spanish and Arabic and potentially one additional language based on request during registration.
