Hi, I am Alexandra (Alexa) Humphreys, the Interim Localisation Helpdesk for the GNC. I say “interim” because I look forward to handing this position over to someone with lived experience working for local and national actors. I currently co-chair the Anti-racism & Localisation Working Group and recently we supported the launch of the GNC Localisation Roadmap.

My previous professional focus was on emergency nutrition assessments, including, coaching for capacity strengthening, quantitative data analysis, and optimizing electronic questionnaires for field data collection. I have multi-regional survey experience in English, French, and Portuguese, aiming to ensure capacity strengthening is embedded and our national colleagues are centered in our work.

I am passionate about producing high-quality results that translate into action. I have an MSc from Tufts University in Food Policy and Applied Nutrition with an emphasis on Humanitarian Assistance and a BA in Sociology.
